My mom took me to get a kitty at the shelter one day. We went into the room of kittens about 2-4 months old. As soon as we stepped into the room, all the kitties were meowing and rubbing their backs against their cages. There was one kitty in a cage with her sister. She looked up at mom and me. She was reaching out to us.
Now, seven months later, my Meiko always reaches out to me to get picked up and held. I love my kitten. I’ll never forget the day when she said, “Pick ME!”
