Tiny Toot had been ill for quite some time. During the last seventeen months of her life, I had comforted her, giving her all my love and attention. I feel lost because my companion has gone to Kitty Heaven.
She came to me when she was three weeks old. She was an orphan kitten whom I came to love and cherish. She wasn’t just an ordinary cat. She was someone I loved and came to accept as part of my family. I lost a part of me.
My heart is filled with hurt and sorrow when I look around to find my cat. If I could bring her back, I would. But she’s in no pain now and she is happy and healthy, looking down on me.
I buried her underneath the tree so that she can have the sun and stars shine down on her. And when I look up, I know she is at peace and this is comforting to me. I love you Tiny Toot for all the rest of my life. Thank you for being my best friend and for leaving me your heart and love.
