Oh my, how fortunate that you found her and that she’s healthy. By the time you read this, I predict she will have settled quite a bit. Time eases the stress in most cases. Giving her space and not trying to pet her until invited is a good approach. Her routine has been disrupted and it will take several days for her to become used to the old habits once more. While she’s been gone, other cats may have been in her outside territory, too, and that could prompt some agitation as well.
