Around 12-14 weeks of age kitten play often becomes more active and the social play can have an aggressive undertone. They may chase one another, pounce, bite and roll around. If they are quite angry with one another this might end in hissing and growling. If there is no hissing and growling it usually is just play. Intact (un-neutered) male cats are more likely to spray their territory both indoors and out with urine and they also might roam and fight. If they find intact female cats then they will breed. Please have your male cats neutered to help prevent unwanted kittens, roaming and other behavior issues.
