Ooooooh, cue the scary music! I really don’t have a clue other than you must be of extreme interest to the kitties. It might have something to do with the way you smell (a certain perfume or body lotion?), or some sort of unconscious behavior.
Some cats use “the stare” to induce you to read their kitty minds…when they want you to do something like put food in the bowl. If this has worked for them in the past (they stared, you pet them or otherwise rewarded the behavior) they likely will continue.
