Intact male cats are more likely to roam away from home, get into fights with other cats, travel long distances and be at risk from accidents and injury from other animals. They also will spray their environment with urine often both indoors and outside. Finally, intact male cats will father kittens that may not be able to find homes. To increase longevity and the health of a cat as well as preventing unwanted litters of kittens it is responsible cat ownership to have your male cat neutered.
